Axis Tennis Academy — Values & Policies

Effective May 2025

1. Core Charter (Everyone should read this part)

Vision

To establish Axis Tennis Academy as a world-class training institution, empowering players—regardless of their starting point—to reach the highest levels of the sport while uplifting tennis culture across South Lebanon.

Mission

We discover and develop talent through high-performance coaching, modern sports-science tools, and a culture of resilience and ownership. We raise champions by raising the standards of character, discipline, and tennis excellence.

Core Values

  • Responsibility – "I am the axis." Every player and coach owns their path.
  • Inclusiveness – Tennis is accessible to passionate players whatever their means.
  • Excellence – Each drill, decision, and interaction targets long-term greatness.
  • Community over Competition – We rise together by raising the level of South Lebanon tennis.
  • Adaptability – Independence lets us choose the best courts, tools, and formats.
  • Growth Mind-set – Failure is part of the journey; what matters is staying in the fight.

2. Players — What You Commit To

  • Arrive 15 minutes early for a proper warm-up and injury-prevention routine.
  • Follow the 4-phase training model in every session (Open • Closed • Semi-Open • Open).
  • Use appropriate equipment: personal racket, non-marking court shoes, light-coloured athletic wear.
  • Respect fellow players, coaches, staff, facilities, and opponents—on court and online.
  • Fair Play & Anti-Doping: abide by ITF anti-doping code and local regulations.
  • Growth Mind-set: own your progress, stay coachable, reflect after sessions.

3. Parents & Guardians

3.1 Payments & Attendance

  • Fees are paid monthly in advance based on scheduled sessions (preferred method: Wish #03671807).
  • Cancel 48 hours or more before a session to reschedule; no-shows are non-refundable.
  • If Axis cancels because of weather or force majeure, the session is either credited or refunded within 30 days.

3.2 Child-Protection & Safeguarding

  • Coaches never leave minors unattended or alone in a closed space.
  • Concerns or incidents should be reported by phone/WhatsApp to 03 671 807 within 24 hours.

3.3 Media Consent

Axis may photograph or film sessions and events for non-commercial promotion (website, social media, brochures).

3.4 Grievance & Feedback

Questions or complaints? Call/WhatsApp 03 671 807 or speak to the Head Coach in person. We acknowledge all messages within two working days.

4. Coaches

Session Reporting

After every session, the coach must upload a concise report (objectives, activities, outcomes) to the Academy portal before leaving the venue.

Session Standards

  • Apply the 4-phase model and integrate the four pillars (Tactical • Technical • Physical • Mental).
  • Keep courts safe: no loose balls underfoot, clear feeding lanes, continuous supervision.

Safeguarding

Never leave minors unsupervised; assist with breaks only in observable areas.

Disciplinary Triggers (examples)

Late arrival, missing session reports, unsafe behaviour, disrespect, or leaving a minor alone may result in warnings, reduced hours, suspension, or dismissal.

Coach Rights & Growth Path

Fair, on-time pay; access to professional development; clear promotion ladder from Trainee Coach to Head Coach.

6. Acceptance

By checking "I agree to the Academy Values & Policies" during registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept all terms applicable to your role (player, parent/guardian, or coach) as outlined above.
